holidei-4 : another day at the beach

... pantai yang sama, suasana yang berbeda..

... pagi ini kami harus agak waspada mengawasi anak-anak bermain.. karena pagi ini angin bertiup agak kencang, menjadikan pantai agak berombak.. juga ditambah laut pasang.. menenggelamkan sebagian tepian yang dua hari yang lalu kami gunakan untuk bermain pasir.. kadang ombak seperti datang bergulung-gulung.. menerjang semua yang ada didepannya.. tapi anak-anak seperti tidak memperhatikan perubahan yang ada di pantai.. untuk mereka.. berangin atau tidak, berombak atau tidak.. pantai tetap pantai..bermain tetap bermain.. and boys will be boys..

... menyaksikan mereka bermain... sungguh menyenangkan... kata orang, kita meminjam dunia dari anak-anak kita.. dalam perenungan dan rasa syukur untuk anak-anak yang boleh saya miliki.. saya teringat suatu puisi..

I'll Lend You A Child

We'll love him while we may,
And for the happiness we've known
Forever grateful stay.
  But should the angels call for him
Much sooner than we've planned,
We'll brave the bitter grief that come
And try to understand."
